The hotel overlooks the iconic Central Square and is very close to the ornate Grand Theatre and the famous Capitolio building, with the historic streets of Old Havana a few steps away. The original colonial style section has lush tropical vegetation in the very popular lobby-bar area and a certain old-fashioned charm. The modern section is modern and contemporary, with bright colours, chic fabrics, wood, and glass and the two sections of the hotel are connected by a short underground walkway, where the original city walls are preserved and exhibited for guests to see.

The 427 rooms and suites with king or two double beds are separated over the colonial and modern sections of the hotel, with upgraded standard rooms offering views of the Central Square and Prado Street. There are a selection of junior Suites and full suites with more space, enhanced amenities and living room/small meeting space. Room facilities include well-appointed bathrooms with baths or showers, full air-conditioning, flat screen TV, safe, hairdryer and iron.
EAT
Dining options offer good capacity for group dining or events. The large international style buffet opens for breakfast and then for lunch and dinner when it specialises in Mediterranean/Cuban cuisine with the opportunity for evening group functions. The hotel also has an A la carte international restaurant and a steakhouse with Canadian steaks flown in. Two pool snack bars serve a light menu with Cuban sandwiches, pizzas and burgers and the lobby bars also service a range of snacks and pastries.

The hotel offers one of the most comprehensive meeting facilities in Havana, with 8 meetings rooms offering capacities from 6 to 450 delegates. The largest combination of rooms allows for 130 delegates theatre style and 450 for a cocktail party style with breakout sessions possible, with all rooms available with full support and catering services.

Enjoy sunset gatherings overlooking Havana at one of the two rooftop pool areas with catering and music / DJs available and the hotel’s restaurants have decent capacity for formal dinners or cocktail parties with creative catering.
